My whole squad has been together for the past week in Cusco at our first debrief of the World Race.  Debrief is a time to rest, reflect, and process what we have learned and how God has moved in our hearts.  It’s hard to believe that month 1 is over and we will be moving on to month 2 very shortly!

Update on month 2:  we are no longer going to Bolivia. Due to a lot of political unrest going on there currently, leadership within the World Race made the decision to not send us into an unsafe environment.  Instead, we will be staying in Peru for another month!  My team will be going to Pacasmayo and partnering with a local church in the city. Pacasmayo is located in the north of Peru, right on the coast.  It is so awesome that my team gets to experience living in two very different parts of the country!  I’m excited to see the ways the Lord will move in month 2!

Beginning tomorrow, my squad will be spending the next 24 hours in prayer and intercession for Bolivia.  I would love it if you would join us in prayer for the political situation and for the ministries we were supposed to partner with while in the country.

  5. I know it was a disappointment to the squad to miss out on Bolivia, and at the same time I love how you all decided to accept the last-minute change of plans and spend a day to intercede for Bolivia and the ministries and people there! I know God will bless you for your willingness to adapt and then to intercede. Glad you got to experience 2 very diverse ministries.
