The World Race is an 11 month mission trip to 11 different countries. In October, I will be leaving the comforts of home behind and living out of a backpack for 11 months to partner with ministries and churches around the world to share the love of Jesus. I will be traveling to Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Benin, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, India, Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines. I will be traveling with a team and we will be doing ministry in a different country each month. Some of the different types of ministry I may be doing are:
- construction
- evangelism outreach
- teaching English
- helping in orphanages
- fighting against human trafficking
- working with refugees
This journey will be intense and I will be pushed far outside of my comfort zone. My hope is that not only will I be able to share the love of Jesus with many people, but that my faith will deepen and I will learn to truly rely on God. Please pray for me and the other members of my team as we prepare our hearts to embark on this incredible journey.
